Stuart Palmer is a UK-based illustrator, animator and writer.

ILLUSTRATION
Stuart produced the artwork for the graphic novel ‘The Devil’s Detail’ (2012), as well as providing regular double page computer generated murder scenes for ‘The Agatha Christie Book Collection’ (2011-2013) for Hachette Partworks Ltd. For local shops and charities, he has designed signage, logos, posters and flyers.

ANIMATION
Stuart co-wrote, directed and animated ‘The Legend of Kawa the Blacksmith’ (2009) with Havi Ibrahim. Based on a Kurdish legend, this was the world’s first feature length Kurdish animation, premiering at the Manchester Kurdish Film Festival 2009. He has worked on the BBC/2|Entertain DVD releases of ‘Doctor Who’ as well as for the BFI’s release of ‘Out of the Unknown’ (2014). His latest short ‘Delivery of Doom’ premiered at the Animacursed Festival in Rio de Janeiro in August 2014.

WRITING
Stuart was a monthly columnist in ‘Writing Magazine’ (Warner Group plc) and has also authored several science fiction, fantasy and horror stories which have appeared in such publications as ‘Interzone’ (UK) and ‘Aboriginal Science Fiction’ (US).

He is pleased to accept commissions in any of his specialist fields.
